Terry Sitler has 16 years of high school coaching experience, the last 12 years as the Head Girls Varsity Coach at Brandywine Heights High School (retiring after the 2005-2006 season). Taking the program over in 1994, the varsity program was in the midst of a 52 game losing streak, with very little past success. Developing and implementing a quality feeder system led to the program winning its first division championship in over 25 years. It is now considered one of the most consistent programs (from 3rd grade through 12th grade) in Berks County. Coach Sitler has been highly involved in the recruitment process as a head coach.

During his coaching career, several of his players have been placed in Division I, II and III colleges, as well as placing international players in his own basketball program. As a player Terry was a starter on the 1981 PIAA Class AA State Basketball Championship Team from Central Columbia.

Terry has a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management from East Stroudsburg University and a Master’s of Education Degree in Counseling Psychology from Kutztown University. Terry is employed by Kutztown University as the Director of Conference Services (a position he has held since 1990).

Coach Sitler combines his playing and coaching experiences with his organizational and administrative skills in helping to make AFBE one of the best basketball organizations in the country.
