Jeff Jones, President and CEO of AFBE, has spent a lifetime winning the recruiting wars as a
D-1 basketball coach. Jeff knows what it takes to play at the college level, as well as what it takes
to get noticed by college coaches looking for players. Jeff’s highly successful career includes recruiting
talent who have gone on to play in the NBA, Europe and South America. Jeff's experience is now transformed into the
AFBE National Exposure Service.
Coach Jones began his career at Illinois State University in 1975 and went on to serve as an assistant
coach and junior varsity head coach upon graduation. From 1978-86, Jones was an assistant coach at
Wichita State University. Over the years, Jones has recruited and coached four NBA players -
Cliff Levingston, Antoine Carr, Xavier McDaniel, and Emanuel Davis. He also had players achieve
successful European and CBA Careers. Jones also served as Head Coach at Fayetteville
State University from 1986-88, Delaware State University from 1988-94 and Kutztown University
from 1994-2000. Since retiring from collegiate coaching several years ago, Jones has turned
his attention exclusively to making AFBE, Inc. number one in the camp business. Jones is
currently the Director of Admissions at East Stroudsburg University.
